Joint Action for Building Alliance and Resilient Interactions (JABARI) Initiative

The JABARI Initiative, led by Reserve The Blue, aims to strengthen the collaboration between law enforcement agencies and Community Violence Intervention (CVI) programs in San Bernardino County, California. Our goal is to enhance law enforcement engagement, promote trauma-informed practices, and foster community dialogue.

Key Goals:

• Enhance Law Enforcement Engagement: Provide training on best practices for working with CVI programs and facilitate joint workshops.

• Promote Trauma-Informed Practices: Offer training and develop resources for trauma-informed responses.

• Foster Community Engagement: Organize dialogues and develop best practices for effective community collaboration.

• Improve Strategic Communications: Train on effective communication strategies and develop plans to build transparency and trust.

Target Population: Law enforcement agencies, CVI organizations, and community stakeholders in San Bernardino County.

Expected Outcomes: Improved collaboration, better trauma-informed responses, increased community engagement, and stronger strategic communications, leading to safer and more resilient communities.
